Raising bad boys
It all started with a question I had four years ago.
Why is it that Filipinas are very good mothers, but often, they raise bad men? (Bad meaning irresponsible, immature, macho, sexist, unwilling to share time and effort as dad and husband).
Read the article here.
Reactions, violent or otherwise are welcome, as usual.
Another question I want answered soon: Why is it that we have those dang stinky pink urinals for men, and there's no need for it for women? Is it because women are more disciplined? Are our men toilet-trained enough?

"good wombs hath borne bad sons."
Eric Harris quoted this line from the tempest before carrying out the mass murder a few years ago.
But in our case (Flipinos) We decide to be bad DESPITE of our good Moms because of this Phenomenon: GOODY GOOD SHOE NANCY DREW TYPE OF GIRLS ALWAYS FALL FOR THE GANGSTA KIND!
now about the pink urinals? beats the crap out of me.
good mother = bad son
only if the father is not in the picture. since absenteeism seems to be a father's favorite pastime, we can expect the numbers to increase that is women will now lead and men will simply follow or kill each other.
stinky pink urinals? well, i only used it once and vowed not to use it ever again. i think the answer to the question: most pinoy men are incontinent.
i will send the link of the iReport to others for them to see the alarming statistics. thanks!
Blame it on the nature of our society, which is still trapped in the 18th century way of thinking... but hey, I grew up to be the exact opposite. ;-)
Don't ask me about those pink urinals, I'm as perplexed as you are...
tk, yap. guilty. many of us women always take bad boys as a challenge.
beatburn, i hope GOOD men won't kill each other. there's too few of them left!
snugly, yep. the story is about the growing trend of men growing up ill-equipped to meet the demands of the current world. but there are a few good men outta there. you're one of them. o ha?
this is a recipe for the age old battle of the sexes :p but this time, you argue with actual stats haha.
Lost Boys and Golden Girls... It's an old Meatloaf song.
friendship! hahahahahahahah
well, for one, some men, despite their mothers love for them, refuse to recognize their soft side. instead, due to society's demand, chooses to become macho! ayan! hahahahaha
maging bading na lang kaya! hahahaha
koryn, i always back up arguments with stats and studies made by others. para hindi lang ako ang responsable. bwahaha!
